First Citizens Bank supports the CARE Center with a $500 gift earmarked for its College Reach-Out Program (CROP)

The CARE Center’s goal for its youth and community initiatives is to increase understanding of social, emotional, behavioral, intellectual, and cultural issues that impact children, families, and the South Florida Community while promoting self-sustaining solutions through service.

The intent of the CHAMPSCollege Reach-Out Program under the CARE Center’s Research Initiative is to improve the college access and completion for low-income and educationally disadvantaged students in grades 6-12. To accomplish this, CHAMPS-CROP provides academic support, social-emotional learning, personal counseling, financial literacy, civic engagement, college and career readiness activities to address the barriers that affect student personal and academic success.

On behalf of Barry University and its CARE Center, we THANK First Citizens Bank for the gift of $500. The financial support will allow the CARE Center and its programs together with First Citizens Bank make our communities stronger.
